Monsoon Alert: Monsoon has become a problem for the fast-paced life in many areas of the country these days, due to which everyone is distraught. There is torrential rain in the United States from the Northeast to South India. Due to this, rivers, drains are all in spate. It rained in many parts late at night, due to which the temperature dropped.

Farmers have also suffered huge losses due to heavy rains in most parts of eastern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Not only this, power lines broke due to strong winds, due to which power cuts had to be faced. Many roads are blocked due to falling trees. Heavy rain is occurring in most areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in many states.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning in many states. For Sunday, an alert of heavy rain with thunder has been issued in eastern Rajasthan, western Madhya Pradesh and many parts of Gujarat. A warning of heavy rain with thunder has been issued in Uttarakhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra-Kutch, Central Maharashtra and Konkan-Goa.

Apart from these, heavy rains are also expected in Karnataka, Kerala, Assam and Meghalaya. Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh may witness a spell of rain. An orange alert has also been issued for this place. It has been advised to stay indoorgivenof the possibility of lightning.

Possibility of rain here for 5 days

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many areas of South India for the next 5 days. According to the IMD, rain is expected in the southern state of Kerala for the next 5 days.

Strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 50-60 kmph till Sunday. Due to strong winds and turbulence in the sea, fishermen have been advised to stay away from the Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts till July 30.
