Delhi Vidhan Sabha Chunav:- The noise of the election campaign for the Delhi Assembly will end today. The decision on who will form the government in Delhi will come out on February 8. 699 candidates, including candidates from the three major parties, are trying their luck on 70 assembly seats in Delhi. Delhi Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on February 5, while the counting of votes will be done on February 8.

There is tough competition between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party. Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party are fighting a tough fight. Both parties are trying their best to form their respective governments in Delhi. The BJP is trying to make a comeback after 26 years.

On the other hand, the Haryana government announced a holiday on February 5, given the Delhi Assembly elections. On February 5, all public offices, educational institutions, boards, and corporations will be offered a paid holiday. This holiday aims to facilitate voting for the state government employees registered in Delhi.

According to an official statement, ‘This provision, under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and Section 135-B of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (amended in 1996), applies to employees who are registered voters of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, thereby facilitating them to cast their vote in the general elections.’The private sector will have a holiday

The order states that employees of factories, shops and private establishments in Haryana who are registered voters of Delhi will also get the right to paid leave for this purpose.
