States like Punjab have come under the grip of floods, where the situation is out of control. So far, 29 people have died due to severe floods in Punjab alone. On the other hand, strict steps are being taken at the administrative level in view of the safety of the people.

An order has been issued to keep all schools closed today,y i.e. on 3 September 20,25, in many districts of Himachal, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Haryana. Therefore, definitely contact your school regarding the holiday. The administration has advised staying in safe places during bad weather.
School holidays in many districts of UP
Heavy rains continue in many districts of UP, due to which the administration has announced a holiday for schools. In Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi, the District Magistrate has issued an order that all government and private schools from nursery to class 12 will remain closed on September 3. In Gautam Buddha Nagar, too, a holiday has been declared today in schools affiliated to all boards.
Here too, schools from nursery to class 12 have been closed. The Meerut administration has also issued an order to keep all schools up to class 8 closed on September 3 due to rain. Along with this, schools affiliated to the council, government, aided, CBSE, ICSE and Madrasa Board are included.
Schools are closed here in Uttarakhand.
IMD has issued an order to keep all schools up to class 12 closed in the Champawat and Chamoli districts of Uttarakhand, taking precautionary measures. Along with this, a holiday has also been declared in all Anganwadi centres of the district. This decision has been taken in view of the safety of the students and the bad weather conditions. This order will apply to all government and non-government schools.

Due to heavy rains, schools will remain closed on September 3 in Panchkula, Bhiwani, Hisar, Sirsa, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar and Fatehabad in Haryana.

Flood-like conditions prevail in Punjab these days. Sutlej, Beas and Ravi rivers are in spate, causing devastation. The government has kept all government and private schools, as well as colleges and universities, holiday till September 3.

Schools have been kept on holiday in Himachal Pradesh too in view of heavy rains and the danger of landslides and floods. Holiday has been fixed for all schools and colleges on September 3 in districts like Shimla, Kangra, Mandi, Sirmaur, Una, Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur and Lahaul-Spiti.
