Bihar Weather – Watch Viral Video of Heavy Rain Ruining Dussehra Plans, IMD Issues Heavy Rain Warning

Bihar Monsoon Alert: Today, October 2, Dussehra is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. However, heavy rain in Patna has dampened the spirits. Preparations for the Ravana Dahan ceremony were underway at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Dark clouds gathered in the sky, and a short while later, heavy rain began. The giant effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnad, adorned with fireworks, were completely drenched.

The rain melted all the effigies to such an extent that Ravana’s head broke off and hung loose before it could be burned. The heavy downpour dampened the enthusiasm, with people scrambling to escape. The grand Ravana Dahan ceremony, held annually at Gandhi Maidan on the occasion of Vijayadashami, has been disrupted by the rain. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was scheduled to attend the Ravana Dahan ceremony, but the event has been delayed due to rain.

Despite the rain, people are eagerly awaiting the commencement of the Ravana Dahan ceremony. After the rains stop, preparations for the burning of Ravana will begin anew. Many VIPs, including the Chief Minister, attend this event.
