In international markets, the price of gold stands at $4,401.30 per ounce. Since the market is closed on weekends, this rate remains valid for both Saturday and Sunday. According to ibjarates.com, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,49,621 per 10 grams at the close of the market. As the market remains closed on weekends, this rate applies to both Saturday and Sunday. On July 31, the price of 999-purity gold was recorded at ₹1,42,860 per 10 grams. By the close of the market on August 7, the price of 24-carat gold had risen to ₹1,49,621 per tola. This indicates an increase of approximately ₹7,000 in gold prices. Notably, gold prices have started to surge as the festive season approaches.
