Gold Price Update – Gold Hike ₹1,723 per 10g, Check 24 Carat and 22 Carat City – Wise Rates

Gold Price Today (July 22, 2026): Gold prices are constantly fluctuating. A steady rise in gold rates has been observed over the past two days, causing renewed concern among women, who hold a deep fondness for gold jewellery. Prior to the market opening today, the futures price for 24-carat gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose by 1.07% (an increase of ₹1,512), settling at ₹1,42,900 per 10 grams. At the market opening on July 22, gold prices saw a further surge; 24-carat gold climbed by 1.22% to ₹1,44,623 per 10 grams. Today, gold has become dearer by ₹1,723 per 10 grams.

In international markets, the spot price of gold stood at $4,124.00 per ounce. Meanwhile, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of gold was recorded at ₹1,43,137 per 10 grams at the close of trading on Tuesday evening. Therefore, if you are considering purchasing gold, it is advisable to check the latest rates beforehand.

Silver Price

Before the market opened today, the price of silver on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose by 0.01% (an increase of ₹21) to ₹2,23,800 per kilogram. Upon the opening of the MCX market on July 22, silver surged by 1.21% to reach ₹2,26,480. This indicates a ₹2,680 increase in the price of silver.

At 9:00 AM on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold for August 5, 2026 delivery rose by 1.22% to reach ₹144,623 per 10 grams. Gold has become dearer by ₹1,723 per 10 grams. A significant surge in gold prices has been observed over the past two days, suggesting that prices are poised for another upward trend.
