Gold Price Drop: A decline in gold and silver prices was observed on Monday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold for December delivery fell by ₹1,400 to ₹149,630 per 10 grams at the time of writing this report. Meanwhile, the price of silver for December delivery rose by ₹1,025 to reach ₹226,902 per kilogram.

Gold and silver prices are fluctuating daily, with rates sometimes rising and at other times falling. According to MCX data, gold hit a record high of ₹193,096 on January 29 and has since become cheaper by ₹44,046. Similarly, the all-time high for MCX silver is ₹420,048, and it has dropped by ₹191,146.

According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of silver has risen to ₹222,934 per kilogram.
