Gold Price Falls: Indian women have a deep love for gold jewellery and often purchase it in large quantities during festivals and the wedding season. If you are also considering buying gold, there is good news for you: gold and silver prices dropped on July 13. On Monday, gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell by approximately ₹1,200, while silver prices declined by ₹5,000.

Meanwhile, the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) has also released gold rates. On Monday, 999-pure gold opened at ₹1,42,289 per 10 grams, down ₹1,079; previously, the price stood at ₹1,43,368 at the close of the market last week. According to the IBJA, the price of one kilogram of silver fell by ₹3,155 to ₹2,17,235. Previously, silver had closed at ₹2,20,390 per kilogram.

24-carat Gold

According to the IBJA, 999 purity gold fell by ₹1,079 on July 13, reaching ₹1,42,289 per 10 grams.

23-Carat Gold

According to the IBJA, gold with 995 purity fell by ₹1,075, reaching ₹1,41,719 per 10 grams.

22-Carat Gold

According to IBJA, the price of 916-purity gold has dropped by ₹988 to ₹1,30,337 per 10 grams.

18-Carat Gold

According to IBJA, the price of 750-purity gold has dropped by ₹809 to ₹1,06,717 per 10 grams.

14-Carat Gold

According to IBJA, the price of 585-purity gold has dropped by ₹631 to ₹83,239 per 10 grams.

Silver Price

According to IBJA, the price of one kilogram of silver has fallen by ₹3,155 to ₹2,17,235.

On January 29, the price of silver had reached ₹3.86 lakh—its highest price ever. Since then, the price of silver has dropped by ₹1.69 lakh.
