Xiaomi Mix Flip 2: Xiaomi is preparing to add three thrilling new devices to its roster, which have already begun making waves. With a stylish new flip phone, a powerhouse smartphone, and a tablet aimed at gamers, the releases later this year have something for every type of user. With 3C certifications already underway and leaks indicating a June release, enthusiasts won’t have long to wait.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 would be thinner, lighter, and loaded with fashionable accessories. It would weigh 190 grams and have a thickness of 7.6mm when unfolded, according to leaks. The phone is likely to have a 6.85-inch foldable OLED screen supporting 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will most likely have Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 5,100mAh battery, wired charging support of 67W, and wireless charging support of 50W.
Camera-wise, the Mix Flip 2 should carry a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and 50MP ultra-wide lens. Some other features might include NFC, IR blaster, in-display fingerprint reader, and IPX8 rating. The global launch could happen in July, immediately after its Chinese launch.
Redmi K80 Ultra
The Redmi K80 Ultra also passed through 3C certification in China and is set to launch along with the Mix Flip 2. Designed for heavy users, the phone is expected to come with a humongous 7,500mAh battery. Bypass charging will also be available, which may benefit gaming and extended usage sessions. While complete specs have yet to be announced, it is anticipated to offer top-end performance at a reasonable price. Yet, this device could be exclusive to China as well.
Redmi Gaming Tablet
In addition to these two phones, a new gaming tablet from the Redmi brand will also make its debut. It is reportedly featuring a large battery and also supporting bypass charging. With the focus on games and a low price point, the tablet is geared towards mobile gamers who want efficient hardware without spending much money.
Expected Launch Timeline
All three devices, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, Redmi K80 Ultra, and Redmi gaming tablet, will apparently launch in China by June-end, tips Smart Pikachu. While the Mix Flip 2 may be the only one of them to receive a global launch in July, the K80 Ultra may debut worldwide in Q3 2025 as Xiaomi 15T Pro.
Design and Innovation
Xiaomi is going all out on user-focused innovations with these new phones. From foldable tech to big batteries with bypass charging, the brand is introducing a balance of style and functionality. Particularly the Mix Flip 2, which is trying to provide premium features in a thinner and lighter package.
