Vivo has officially set the stage for its upcoming summer launch moment, and it has, in a pretty straightforward way, confirmed the arrival of the S60 series that everybody has been waiting for. The lineup, with both the regular Vivo S60 and the more budget friendly Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, has already shown up across big retail platforms for pre-orders. This new generation wants to completely redo what “mid range value” means, by not really compromising on durability or advanced biometric features. And instead of leaving stronger protection as a thing only for higher priced Pro tiers, Vivo is basically opening that up to more people, so it can take a direct shot at its smartphone rivals.

The real, headline kind of thing for the fresh Vivo S60 lineup is that huge 7,200mAh Blue Ocean silicon-anode battery. Even with a capacity this big, Vivo managed to keep the whole build really slim and tight, like an unibody form that’s only 7.92mm thick and about 207 grams in hand, so it still feels light enough. The in between model, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is projected to retail close to ₹32,999. Meanwhile the mid-tier option with 12GB RAM plus 512GB storage should arrive around ₹36,500. Then, at the very top, the flagship model with 16GB RAM along with 512GB storage is expected to be priced at roughly ₹41,999.
