Vivo S50 & S50 Pro Mini Phones Scheduled To Launch on 15 December: Vivo is finally going to unveil S50 series smartphones, which include Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini, in China on December 15, 2025. The phones are expected to launch in global markets, including India, likely rebranded as the Vivo V70 series in early 2026. They may get a compact screen with a triple camera setup and a large 6500 mAh battery pack with 90W fast charging support.

Launch Date & Availability

Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini phones are launching in China on December 15, 2025, and are expected to come to India later in 2026 under the Vivo V70 branding. They are not currently available in India.

Performance

Vivo S50 smartphone is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, and the Vivo S50 Pro Mini smartphone is expected to be powered by the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Both smartphones are expected to run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

Camera Setup

If you look at the camera setup, then Vivo S50 smartphone may feature a triple camera setup in the rear section which may include a 50MP main sensor plus a 50MP periscope telephoto lens plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera, whereas in front you may get a 50MP selfie camera. Simultaneously, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini smartphone may get a VCS ultra-sensitive main camera plus a 50MP periscope telephoto Sony IMX882 sensor plus an ultra-wide lens, whereas in front you may get the same 50MP camera.

Battery Pack

Both smartphones are highly rumoured to pack a 6500 mAh battery pack, and they may support 90W FlashCharge wired charging. The S50 Pro Mini model is also expected to get 40W wireless charging support.

Display

Vivo S50 smartphone is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, whereas the Vivo S50 Pro Mini smartphone may feature a more compact 6.31-inch flat OLED display. Both phones are also expected to hold IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced dust and water resistance.
