Honor Magic V3 features a very slim body measuring only 4.4mm when folded and 9.3mm when unfolded. It is either 226g or 230g in weight and features a glass front, nylon fiber rear, and aluminum frame. It is stylus-enabled and features IPX8 water resistance. The primary screen is a 7.92-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED screen with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its resolution is 2156 x 2344 pixels. The cover screen is a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED display with Dolby Vision and a 5000-nit peak brightness.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, Magic V3 comes with Android 14 and MagicOS 9 and can be upgraded to Android 15. It features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with an octa-core processor and Adreno 750 GPU. The storage variants include 256GB with 12GB RAM, 512GB with 12GB or 16GB RAM, and a high-end 1TB with 16GB RAM. The phones all feature support for UFS 4.0 storage without memory card support.

Honor Magic V3 comes with a triple camera setup at the back. It is accompanied by 50MP wide sensor with OIS, 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and 40MP ultrawide camera. Rear video recording is enabled up to 4K at 60fps with gyro-EIS and OIS. Front and cover both come with 20MP selfie cameras that support 4K and 1080p video recording.

It comes with a 5150mAh silicon-carbon battery that has 66W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities. It also has 5W reverse wired charging, so it can be used to charge other devices while on the move.

Honor Magic V3 was released on July 19, 2024. It comes in Velvet Black, Snow, Tundra Green, and Red colors. It costs between $1,299 for the 256GB model and $1,690 for the flagship. It’s currently only sold in a handful of international markets.
