TECNO Phantom Ultimate G Fold: TECNO has recently introduced its new concept device TECNO PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold to the world. This is not a common phone, but a futuristic foldable concept that shows the trailer of TECNO’s upcoming innovation. Currently this phone is not available for sale in the market, but seeing its features and design, people are already going crazy about it.

Design of TECNO PHANTOM 

The design of this device is so different and advanced that after seeing it, anyone’s attention is stuck on it. TECNO has claimed that this is the world’s thinnest tri-fold smartphone. It has an inward folding G-style dual hinge mechanism, which when folds the phone, its main display is completely hidden inside. This “G” shape is clearly visible when you look from below or from the side.

Two strong hinges 

The TECNO PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold has two different hinges. A small waterdrop hinge that folds the display smoothly and without a gap, and a larger primary hinge that wraps the rest of the display around the first fold. This makes the device completely compact and remains firmly closed with a self-locking system.

Extreme thinness in fold and unfold

When this phone is folded, its thickness is only 11.49mm, which is the same as other dual-fold phones. But as soon as it is fully opened, its thickness remains only 3.49mm – which is the thinnest tri-fold phone till date. 2000 MPa ultra-strength steel and only 0.3mm thin Titan fiber back panel have been used for its strength.

Expansive Display and Hover Mode

When this TECNO phone is fully opened, a powerful 9.94-inch OLED display appears in which hardly any crease is visible. Multi-angle hovering is also supported in it. This means that you can easily use this device by folding it in half, whether you want to make video calls or watch any content – it works like a mini workstation.

AI Features and Triple Camera 

This concept phone will also feature TECNO’s own AI assistant “Ella”. Along with this, it will also have a triple camera setup, but its megapixels or other technical details have not been revealed yet. The camera is also designed in such a way that it helps in multi-angle hovering.

Powerful Battery and High-Performance Chipset

Despite such a slim design, it has a battery of more than 5000mAh, which is a big deal in itself. TECNO has said that a high-performance chipset has been used in it so that it can give a flagship-level experience.

When will this phone come in the market?

Right now this TECNO PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold is just a concept device and its sale has not started. TECNO has confirmed that it will be officially showcased at MWC 2026. This is a glimpse of TECNO’s foldable future, and perhaps we will see a commercial version of this design soon.
