Previously, reports had surfaced that the South Korean company would unveil its Galaxy Z TriFold at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. Several new leaks have surfaced regarding Samsung’s triple-folding phone, revealing its potential price. It could be priced below the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Phone Price Leaked
Regarding the pricing of this upcoming phone from South Korean company Samsung, blogger yeux1122 has shared the information. While this trifold phone is expected to be priced around KRW 3.6 million, or approximately ₹2.25 lakh (approximately $2.5 lakh), earlier leaks suggested it could be priced at KRW 4.4 million, or approximately ₹2.5 lakh (approximately $2.5 lakh).
Samsung will initially launch this new mobile phone in South Korea, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and the UAE. The company will produce only 20,000 to 30,000 units in the first phase. Production of this foldable phone may be expanded later. However, no official information has been shared by the company yet.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Leak Features
Potential features of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The upcoming phone is expected to offer 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. This trifold phone from Samsung will feature a 9.96-inch foldable display. It is expected to feature a 6.54-inch cover display and a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits.
Camera Features
Speaking of its camera, this phone could be launched with a 200MP camera. It could be powered by a 5437 mAh battery. Additionally, this Samsung phone could come with OneUI 8 based on Android 16.
Who will it compete with?
This handset will compete directly with the Huawei Mate XT series, which the Chinese brand introduced last year.
