Display
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G boasts a stunning 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1220 x 2712 resolution and a high pixel density of 446 ppi. It supports 12-bit color, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, perfect for consuming media with deep colors. With a 120Hz refresh rate, the display becomes smooth and fast, perfect for surfing and gaming.
High Brightness and Refresh Rate
Xiaomi guarantees 3,000 nits of peak brightness, though our tests recorded a still-high 1,138 nits with auto-brightness on and 532 nits when it was set to manual. Static refresh rates are available as 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz, though it lacks a genuine adaptive refresh rate. For average users, 120Hz will be found by most to provide silky-smooth performance, especially in high-frame-rate gaming.
HDR Streaming and Content
The gadget is also Widevine L1 DRM-enabled, so Full HD streaming with HDR10 and Dolby Vision on platforms like Netflix is possible. That implies that high-end content looks sharp and immersive out of the box.

Battery Life
Equipped with a 5,110 mAh battery, the global Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G delivers sufficient endurance. In our test, it scored an Active Use Score of 11 hours and 39 minutes. Not the best, but enough for the average day’s usage. Xiaomi also guarantees enhanced low-temperature performance due to high-density battery technology.
Charging Speed
The phone supports 45W Xiaomi HyperCharge fast charging. It charged to 36% in 15 minutes and 63% in 30 minutes in our tests. Charging took slightly more than an hour to finish. Although good, it falls behind last year’s Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and other competitors with higher charging speeds.
Speakers and Audio Quality
Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G has a proper stereo speaker setup, one at each side of the phone. It delivers balanced sound with Dolby Atmos enabled as default. Loudness reading was -26.7 LUFS, which is in the Good category. Voices are sharp, highs are nice, and there is some bass, but it is a bit down on the Redmi Note 13 Pro.

Final Verdict
Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is a competitor in its own right, with a great display, sufficient battery life, and decent-enough audio performance. While it may not excel in every department, it offers great value to those who want an all-rounder at a mid-range price.
