Poco F7 : Something is brewing once again in the smartphone world, too. A fresh Poco phone, maybe the Poco F7, was recently spotted on the FCC certification page. When a phone is listed here, it merely means the launch is imminent. And if rumors are to be believed, then Poco customers might be waiting to welcome a new power box soon.
So what did the FCC listing actually reveal, then? Though it didn’t reveal the overall phone design or the exact specs, it did reveal the model number and some indications of the battery and charging speed too. The phone’s model number is 24069PC21G, which all are convinced is about the near future launch of Poco F7. It could even be a rebranded Redmi K70, which already arrived in China.
And that’s even more intriguing because the Redmi K70 also has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. That’s one extremely fast chip that can take care of gaming, multitasking, and nearly everything else anyone can throw at it. If the Poco F7 is using the same chip, then it would be one of the most powerful phones in its class. FCC listing also ensures that Android 14 is supported out of the box and hence users can expect to have the new features along with better overall performance.
But the second leak is the battery. Poco F7 can have a 5,000mAh battery, which would be enough more than that to use for the entire day. And if it also supports fast charging of 120W like the Redmi K70, then it will charge in approximately 20 minutes.
To date, Poco has not made an official announcement about the F7. But now that FCC certification is done, more leaks and teasers will be coming our way in the very near future. And usually, the launch date is around the same time as certification.
So, if you are considering purchasing a new phone in the coming months, then perhaps it would be wise to wait and see what Poco F7 is. Perhaps it is global game-changer in mid-range. Would you purchase it if it provides premium specs at the cost of budget?
