Pixel 10 Series: Discussions were already strong about the launch of the Pixel 10 series, but now an exclusive invite sent by Google has fueled the rumors further. This invite is specifically for Pixel Superfans and looking at it, it seems that the Pixel 10 series may debut earlier than expected this time. The special thing is that this event is going to be held in June, much before the August 2024 launch timeline of Pixel 9.
‘Pixel Penthouse’ event in London’
According to a report by Android Authority, Google has sent an invite to its Pixel Superfans for a special “Pixel Penthouse” event to be held in London on June 27, 2025. This will be a 90-minute event where only 25 lucky fans will get a hands-on experience of Google’s “pre-release Pixel devices and features”. Although the name Pixel 10 is not mentioned in the invite, there is no other major Pixel hardware lineup at the moment, which is why it is being speculated that this event is related to the Pixel 10 series.
High possibility of launch soon
This event has been described by Google as an “exclusive pre-launch event” of 2025, which clearly indicates that the Pixel 10 lineup—which may include models like Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and perhaps Pixel 10 Pro Fold—could be launched soon. It is believed that these devices can be announced in late June or early July, which would be a big change from last year’s August launch timeline.
Android 16’s rapid progress hints at early launch.
Google has already confirmed that the stable version of Android 16 will be released in the second quarter of 2025, that is, before the end of June. This is much earlier than the rollout timeline of Android 15 last year. This further strengthens the speculation that the Pixel 10 series may debut with Android 16. With this new OS, users are expected to get a completely new experience, especially when it is paired with the new Tensor G5 chipset, which is based on TSMC’s 3nm technology. This processor will not only improve performance but will also give better results in battery efficiency and AI tasks.
Will available at Pixel Superfans event
To make this pre-launch event special, Google has also organized Q&A sessions in it, where fans will be able to ask questions directly to Googlers. Apart from this, these fans will also get the chance to use the upcoming devices first. Also, Google has also included Pixel-themed gifts and goodies in it, which makes this event even more special.
Google’s changed launch pattern
Google has been making a lot of changes regarding the launch schedule of its devices for some time now. Last year, Pixel 9 was launched in August instead of October, and Pixel 9a was launched in the market in March 2025 itself. In such a situation, it is clear that the company wants to strengthen its presence in the market by launching early.
If the Pixel 10 series is launched before July, then Google will get a chance to grab people’s attention before big launches like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Apple’s iPhone 17. This can give the company a market edge. While it is also possible that the June 27 event is just a preview, and the full launch happens in August, an early launch now seems quite possible given Google’s current strategy and the fast-track development of Android 16.
