A low-cost tablet called the OnePlus Pad Lite is reportedly in the works and could soon be released in India. A folio case and pictures of the purported OnePlus Pad Lite taken from various perspectives have been leaked by a tipster. Additionally, reported specifications for the next tablet include an 11-inch LCD screen, 5-megapixel front and rear cameras, and a 9,340mAh battery. OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 15, is probably going to come pre-installed on the OnePlus Pad Lite.
Design of the OnePlus Pad Lite
According to design images revealed by tipster Steve H. Hemmerstoffer in association with 91Mobiles, the next tablet will look a lot like the OnePlus Pad Go, which debuted in India in 2023. One border of the rear panel displays a circle-shaped island with a center-aligned camera, and in the center is the OnePlus logo.
As to the site, the OnePlus Pad Lite depicted in the pictures will be available in Aero Blue, and the company will also provide a folio case that matches the tablet device color. All four sides of the screen have similar bezels on the front.
Possible features of the OnePlus Pad Lite
As per reports, the OnePlus Pad Lite will come with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G100 processor, 128GB of storage, and at least 6GB of RAM. It will be powered by OxygenOS 15 running on top of Android 15. The Helio G99 processor was older in its previous iteration.
An 11-inch full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz is expected for the tablet. Both the rear camera and the selfie camera will be 5 megapixels. It is important to note that the previous OnePlus Pad Go model’s camera and screen resolution are slightly better to those of the purported OnePlus Pad Lite.
Meanwhile, it has been speculated that OnePlus’ next low-cost tablet will have an as big 9,340mAh battery. Both cellular and Wi-Fi versions will be offered. As stated in the article, the OnePlus Pad Lite will weigh 539 grams and have dimensions of 254.9 x 166.5 x 7.4 mm.
