OnePlus Nord CE 5 Leak : OnePlus will be launching a brand new mid-range phone that is as good as an iPhone but will cost half the price of an iPhone. Leaks already have some interesting information about the phone, and it appears that this phone will be one of the most premium mid-range smartphones of the year.
Launch Date and Price (Leaked)
OnePlus Nord CE 5 is set to go on sale in India at any time during May 2025. The market price of the phone must be less than Rs 25,000. To make comparisons, its earlier variant OnePlus Nord CE 4 had gone on sale during April 2024 for Rs 24,999.
Camera Setup
On the cameras, the phone will be paired with a 50MP Sony LYT600 or IMX882 main camera which will accompany OIS support. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 16MP front camera and video call camera can also be added.
Display and Processor
The Nord CE 5 may feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of performance, it may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, the same processor found in phones like Oppo Reno 13 Pro and Realme P3 Ultra.
Storage and Other Features
The phone is preloadable with a maximum of tsingle-speaker256GB internal storage. It can be preloaded with single speaker and hybrid SIM slot.
Software
OnePlus Nord CE 5 must be preloaded with OxygenOS 15 on Android 15, providing the user with a richer and converged software experience.
Among the best that it can offer is its massive 7100mAh battery that also supports 80W fast charging. The phone can support a silicon-carbon battery technology that can slim down the phone. That is an improvement over Nord CE 4, which featured 5500mAh battery.
Design and Look
Leaks indicate that Nord CE 5 design is also very much like iPhone 16, i.e., back panel and camera design. LED flash is also outside the camera module, similar to iPhone. Compared to the earlier Nord CE 4, the phone can introduce a new design with a premium touch.
