Real Basswood Walnut Design

The new Edge 60 Pro model picks up where Motorola’s design experiments with materials and textures left off. Previous models featured Dazzling Blue with a nylon-like texture, Sparkling Grape and Shadow with faux leather backs, and the Basswood Walnut, which goes the more natural route, attracting customers who seek an eco-friendly and high-end feel.

High-End Display and Durable Glass

It has a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with 1.5K resolution (2712 x 1220 pixels), 10-bit color, and a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It is also equipped with as much as 4500 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, making it perfect for outdoor use and everyday wear and tear.

Powerful Chipset with High RAM Options

Under the hood, the Edge 60 Pro is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme 4nm processor, supported by a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. The Basswood Walnut is reserved for the top specification 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring best-in-class performance and quick data handling.

Stunning Camera Setup for Every Requirement

Photography on the Edge 60 Pro is supported by a versatile triple-camera setup. It includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro capabilities, and a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical and 50x Super Zoom. The 50MP front camera ensures sharp selfies with an f/2.0 aperture.

Premium Features and Strong Build

Along with its camera and screen, the phone features stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, USB Type-C audio, and dual nano SIM capability. It has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust resistance and water, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification, providing military-grade ruggedness for heavy use.

Long-Lasting Battery with Fast Charging

The Edge 60 Pro comes with a 6000mAh battery, claiming long battery life. It has 90W TurboPower wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging, delivering speed and ease for active users.

Exclusivity and Historical Reference

This wooden version is at present only available in China, with no word on international availability. Notably, Motorola already employed real wood in the past, such as in the 2014 Moto X or the latest Razr 60 Ultra’s Mountain Trail edition. The firm assures that the Basswood Walnut panel is indeed constructed from actual wood material, as opposed to a printed or plastic copy.
