iPhone Fold 5G Launch Date and Price in India
Talking about the launch, according to the most reliable reports, Apple can launch the iPhone Fold 5G with its iPhone 18 series in September 2026. Earlier in some leaks it was said to come in the last months of 2025, but now almost all experts are considering it a 2026 project.
Now if we talk about the price, then this phone will be the first in the foldable category from Apple and its price is also going to be high accordingly. Globally its price is believed to be around $1,999, which can be from ₹ 1,74,000 to ₹ 1,75,000 in the Indian market. Some leaks have even put the base variant price at $2,300, which is around ₹1,99,000. If you are looking at models with higher storage, the price will go even higher. This phone will be part of the ultra-premium category for Apple, and can be more expensive than almost all foldable phones available in the market.
iPhone Fold 5G Specifications
iPhone Fold 5G will be a future-ready foldable phone that will come with Apple’s most advanced technology. It can have Apple’s A20 or A20 Pro chip, which will be based on 2nm process. Its performance will be lightning-fast and battery efficiency will also be great. It can have at least 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB.
Talking about the design, this phone will be a book-style foldable, with a cover display of about 5.5 inches on the outside and a large crease-free OLED panel of 7.8 to 7.9 inches inside. Samsung Display can be its supplier. Its build quality will be top-notch, in which titanium alloy or liquid metal will be used. The thickness of the phone can be 9.2mm when folded and 4.6mm when open. Side-mounted Touch ID is also expected to be available along with Face ID.
The camera setup will have dual rear cameras – a high-resolution main sensor and an ultra-wide lens. There will be a front camera on both the inside and outside displays, and an under-display selfie camera is also possible. With iOS 26, this phone will give a seamless experience of fold-open/fold-close and multitasking features. There may also be Apple Pencil support.
