Infinix Note 50s 5G Plus: Infinix has extended its series of Infinix mobile phones in India with another variant of Infinix Note 50s 5G+. It was first introduced in April in two models with RAM and storage. It is now introducing a lower model of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for budget-minded consumers. The new phone will go on sale next week and comes with the same premium features at a budget price tag.

New Price and Availability

The new 6GB + 128GB variant will cost ₹14,999 and will go on sale on Flipkart from June 23. The new device will be available alongside the existing 8GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB devices priced at ₹15,999 and ₹17,999, respectively. Infinix is attempting to expand options in India’s mid-range 5G smartphone segment with this launch.

Design and Color Options

Infinix Note 50s 5G+ is available in three fashion colors: Burgundy Red, Marine Drift Blue, and Titanium Grey. What’s interesting is that the Marine Drift version has a unique “scent tech” back panel that emits a scent using Microencapsulation Technology, again making the phone unique compared to its competitors.

Display and Build Quality

The phone boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for scrolling and gaming purposes. The phone is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5, providing an additional dose of strength to the screen. The phone also boasts MIL-STD-810H military-grade protection and an IP64 rating, splashing water along with dust resistance to some degree.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, Note 50s 5G+ is fueled by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, offering buttery-smooth multitasking and gaming performance. It is built around Android 15-based XOS 15 and is accompanied by virtual RAM extension support. The phone comes equipped with a maximum inbuilt storage capacity of 256GB, making it comfortable to store big files, images, and videos.

Camera Features

Infinix Note 50s 5G+ features a dual rear camera led by the 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor that takes decent quality, sharp, and clear photographs. There is a 13MP front selfie shooter for selfies and video calls. It is not quite at the class of the best in class camera modules, but it is business as usual for the mid-range bunch.

Battery and Charging Features

The device is shipped with a 5,500mAh battery that is charged via a 45W cable. This provides quick charging along with extended life to the battery, making it useful for heavy usage and extended gaming sessions. The setup enables users to go through an entire day on the same charge.

Final Thoughts

With its high-end AMOLED screen, snappy performance, and build, the new 6GB + 128GB variant of the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ is a value-for-money option in the sub-₹15,000 segment. It provides style with substance, and it’s the best option for those looking for an affordable but powerful 5G phone.
