Premium Build and Stunning Display
Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 is constructed with a zirconium-based liquid metal alloy, which provides higher strength and durability. The device has a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and an eye-catching peak brightness of 3,500 nits, allowing the user to view it even under direct sunlight. In order to provide durability, the screen is covered with sapphire glass, and hence, it is scratch-resistant and can withstand tough conditions.
First Huawei Smartwatch for Deep Diving
One of the biggest highlights of the Watch Ultimate 2 is its unprecedented 150-meter water resistance rating, making it Huawei’s first smartwatch built for serious divers. It supports sonar-based communication up to 30 meters underwater, allowing users to send and receive messages during dives. Scuba divers can take up to 50 companions, send messages on the surface, and select from several dive modes such as recreational, technical, scuba, and free dive. The smartwatch monitors critical information such as depth, time, speed, NDL, and PO2, all of which are automatically stored in the Huawei Health app.
Advanced Controls and eSIM Support
The watch also comes with the X-Tap multi-sensing system under two crowns, which gives quick access to significant health features such as heartbeat monitoring, ECG, and stress tracking. Huawei also offers eSIM calling with AI noise cancellation, which gives a clean voice quality even in noisy areas. For adventurers, Expedition Mode supports importing routes, offline map downloading, and accurate navigation using the Sunflower Positioning System.
Impressive Battery Life and Smart Features
Huawei says the Watch Ultimate 2 lasts as long as 11 days on light use, 6 days with normal use, and approximately 4 days with the Always-On Display on. When connected to Android, it provides up to 4.5 days’ use, and iOS has around 3.5 days’ use. Other interesting features include fall detection, control of action cameras, golf tracking with pinch-and-zoom maps, ball trajectory sharing, NFC payments, smart gestures, and complete AppGallery support.
Pricing and Availability
The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 is now available across Europe via Huawei’s official online store, Berlin flagship outlet, and authorized retail partners. Prices start at €899 (approximately $1,043). As part of the launch offer, customers purchasing the watch before November 4 will receive a pair of FreeBuds Pro 4 earbuds and a three-year warranty extension at no additional cost.
