As to the source, the Honor X80 will feature an updated design and a 6.81-inch flat 1.5K LTPS display. In line with reports, Honor is also testing a next-generation Snapdragon 6-series chipset, which may be the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 SoC or the SM6850 platform. Notably, earlier rumors claimed a Snapdragon 7-series chipset with minimal power consumption. The Honor X70 has an 8300mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor. It features a 6.79-inch 1.5K display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a single 50MP back camera, and an 8MP selfie camera.
The Honor X70 goes up to CNY 1,999 (about ₹24,000) for the 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage option, and CNY 1399 (roughly ₹16,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant in China.
The source also disclosed that Honor’s newly released 10,000mAh battery-powered models, such as the Honor Power 2 and Honor Win, are outperforming their competitors in their respective markets. The source went on to say that later this year, Honor may include a larger battery in the Magic series, perhaps in conjunction with a massive 6.85-inch screen.
