A new storm is about to come in the world of foldable phones! According to the recently leaked details, Honor is going to launch its new clamshell style foldable phone Magic V Flip 2. This phone will be better than its previous version in many ways, especially in terms of its battery life.

Foldable with big battery

The biggest feature of the Magic V Flip 2 will be its 5500mAh battery. If this comes true, then it will be the world’s first clamshell foldable phone to be given such a big battery. In comparison, Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will have 5165mAh and Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have only 4300mAh battery. This phone can also support 66W or 80W fast charging, which will fill the battery quickly.

Display and performance

This phone will have a 6.8-inch FHD + LTPO OLED main display which will support adaptive refresh rate. This means that the phone will save battery by automatically adjusting the refresh rate of the display. Also, a 4-inch external cover screen will be given in it, so that notifications can be checked without opening the phone.

The phone will be given a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, although it will not be Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is likely that it will be given Snapdragon 8s Generation 4 chipset which will be slightly weaker in terms of performance but better in terms of price and battery life.

Camera and other features

Talking about the camera section, the Magic V Flip 2 will have a dual camera setup. It will have a 50MP primary camera that will support OIS. There is not much information about the second camera yet, but it is likely to have an ultrawide camera.

Honor has not yet shared the official information of this phone, but according to leaks, this phone can be launched by August. Interestingly, this year only Huawei, Xiaomi and Honor will launch new flip phones, while Oppo and Vivo will not bring new flip phones this time.
