BSNL Rs 2,399 Prepaid Plan: BSNL has made a decision which surprised its subscribers by decreasing the validity of two of its top prepaid plans. The plans which were highly in demand because of their longer validity periods have been decreased. Subscribers now receive fewer days at the same rate. The rewards have not been reduced but still, it disappointed a large number of subscribers by cutting the validity period.
BSNL Rs 2,399 Prepaid Plan
This was one of the most value-for-money plans of BSNL, previously having a validity of 425 days. As per the recent update, the validity of the plan has now been cut down to 395 days. Yet, it provides over a year of service, which makes it one of the longest prepaid plans offered in this price range. The plan comes with 2GB data daily, 100 free SMS daily, and unlimited calling. Even post the cut, no other teleco operator currently offers such a long validity at this cost with comparable advantages.
BSNL Rs 1,499 Prepaid Plan
The other plan affected by the change is available for Rs 1,499. It previously provided a year-long service with 365 days of validity. BSNL has now cut the validity of this plan to 336 days. The users will continue to get 100 SMS daily and unlimited calling. But rather than daily data, this plan provides a total of 24GB data for the whole period. There have been no new additions in the form of benefits even though the service days have been cut.
BSNL 4G Rollout Update
BSNL has already started rolling out 4G services across a number of parts of the nation. The organization is aggressively expanding its network and plans to energize one lakh 4G sites in India by June 2025. This rollout will help improve service quality as well as cater to increasing data needs of consumers in rural and urban areas.
