The 185Hz refresh rate is every gamer’s fantasy, offering buttery-smooth visuals with hardly any to zero lag.
Performance: Snapdragon 8 Elite Unleashes Unbridled Power
Housed within the phone is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor featuring an octa-core 4.32GHz processor. The phone has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, and it’s optimized for speed. Multitasking, heavy gaming, or memory-hungry apps, none of them killed it. The phone comes with a whopping 5800mAh battery, which isn’t even remotely fazed by getting through a day’s use even under intensive gaming. The phone also charges ludicrously fast up to 65W, and wireless charging at 15W with reverse charging at 10W. Connectivity and Add-ons: Full of It, But No FM
Connectivity features 4G, 5G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth v5.4, and USB-C v1.4. For safety, there is an in-display fingerprint reader. No FM Radio or memory slot, however, which may frustrate a few old timers.

If gaming is your top priority, the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro is just one of the best of 2025. It combines high-end performance, battery life, and high-refresh-rate display in one in-your-face package. Sure, it’s not necessarily the best for cameras or portability, but for serious gamers, this is an almost perfect toolbox.
