About two months after being launched in worldwide markets, the Asus Chromebook CX14 made its debut in India .The laptop features a 180-degree ‘lay-flat’ hinge design and a 14-inch Full HD+ IPS display. Along with 8GB of RAM and eMMC inbuilt storage, it has an Intel Celeron Processor N4500. As reported by Asus, Google’s Titan C security processor and the Chromebook CX14’s strength are certified to MIL-STD-810H, a US military standard.

Asus Chromebook CX14 models with TN (Twisted Nematic) LCD screens start at Rs 18,990 in India. The IPS version of the Chromebook CX14 is priced at Rs 20,990 at the same time. In addition to being sold on Flipkart, it will soon be sold on Amazon. Customers who buy an Asus Chromebook CX14 will receive 100GB of Google Cloud storage for free.
Asus Chromebook CX14 Features
The 14.0-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) TN/IPS screen of the Asus Chromebook CX14 has a maximum brightness of 300 nits and a 45 percent NTSC color gamut coverage. The Intel Celeron Processor N4500 powers the laptop, and it has up to 128GB of eMMC onboard storage and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
Asus has added a Titan C security chip to guard against attacks and prevent unwanted access, as well as MIL-STD-810H US military standard certification for a longer lifespan. A full-sized Chiclet keyboard with 1.35mm key travel is a further feature of the laptop.
Asus Chromebook CX14 has Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6 as connectivity choices. The laptop’s I/O interfaces include a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A connector, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.2 compatibility, and Kensington Lock.
The laptop weighs 1.39 kg and has dimensions of 324.5 x 214.4 x 17 mm. It features two 2W speakers, two built-in microphones, and support for Google Assistant. The Chromebook CX14 comes with a USB Type-C AC converter and is powered by a 42Wh battery.
