Apple has included a number of features in the iPhone 17 this year that have not yet been included in any other iPhone model. These upgrades have been made to the new iPhone 17 series’ display, storage, processor, and camera. When comparing the new variant to its prior model, the company has made so many alterations for the first time. Despite keeping a similar look to the iPhone 16 that was made available last year, the iPhone 17 is the first to include these five functions.
120 Hz ProMotion Screen
Apple’s base iPhone model now features a ProMotion Super Ratina display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz for the first time. With a maximum brightness of 3000 nits, the company’s latest iPhone 17 has a brighter display than its predecessor.
Chip A19 Bionic
The most recent A19 processor, a rebranded version of the A18 Pro Bionic chip launched last year, is included with Apple’s current iPhone. The new processor performs better than the A18 chip from the previous iteration. It comes with Apple’s neural engine, which can carry out artificial intelligence (AI) tasks.
256 GB of storage
Apple has for the first time offered a 256GB starting option for all of its models. When the iPhone 16 had its debut last year, it had 128GB of storage.
Fast charging
The iPhone 17 comes with a 40W dynamic power adapter from the manufacturer. Also, the 60W Max charging function is supported by this new iPhone. Its wireless and wired charging features have been upgraded.
iOS 26
The iOS 26 operating system has been launched with the new iPhone 17 series. The new iPhone’s user interface is enhanced by Apple’s latest mobile operating system. When moving between apps, users will enjoy transparent glass due to its liquid glass design aspect.
