Moto Watch Fit: Motorola has released a new budget smartwatch in addition to its Edge 60 lineup, targeting the provision of a slim look and robust fitness features at an affordable price. The Moto Watch Fit, released in the UK, combines style and functionality for Android users. Featuring a high-resolution AMOLED screen and battery life that lasts, the new wearable device might be the perfect fit for individuals looking for a stylish but capable fitness tracker.

Moto Watch Fit

The Moto Watch Fit boasts a 1.9-inch AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1,000 nits brightness for easy readability even in direct sunlight. It is built with an ultra-thin aluminium frame and has a sleek Apple Watch-like design. The smartwatch is compatible with only Android and pairs easily with phones to manage music playback and show notifications. Nevertheless, because of Motorola’s own real-time operating system, it does not support third-party apps.

Battery life and fitness tracking

Battery life is among the watch’s greatest strengths. When fully charged, Moto Watch Fit will last for a maximum of 16 days, and a rapid 5-minute charge provides one day of power. A built-in GPS allows for offline tracking outdoors from the phone. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate sensors such as heart rate, SpO2, and movement tracking. The watch is compatible with more than 100 activities like yoga, walking, running, swimming, and so on. It is IP68 certified and also 5 ATM water-resistant, making it safe to wear during swimming.

Other major features

It is accompanied by an interchangeable 22mm strap that closely mimics Apple’s strap design in appearance and functionality. Although the Moto Watch Fit has some level of customisation, it lacks premium features like ECG or temperature monitoring. The smartwatch presently comes in just one colour Pantone Trekking Green. Its UK price is £89.99, or around Rs.10,222. Release in markets such as India or the US has not been confirmed by the company.

Build and design

In spite of its budget segment, the Moto Watch Fit doesn’t compromise on looks. The aluminium build, along with the big AMOLED display, provides it with a classy and contemporary look. The build quality is perfect for both daily wear and intense use, while the small form factor provides comfort all day long.
