Free Scooty Scheme: September 19th turned out to be an unforgettable day for the students of Madhya Pradesh! They had the wonderful opportunity to chat one-on-one with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav right there on stage. The students shared their aspirations with the Chief Minister, while he warmly assured them of his complete support throughout their journey. The students made such a fantastic impression on Chief Minister Dr. Yadav that he couldn’t resist showering them with praise.

This special moment took place during a scooter distribution event at Subhash Excellence School in Bhopal, organized as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan initiative. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav personally handed over scooter keys to 11 students on stage, while more than 7,400 high-performing 12th-grade students throughout the state also received scooters. He even took a spin on one of the student’s scooters!
The scooter will support both academic pursuits and daily household responsibilities.
Khushi Rai was the first to receive her key on stage. When Chief Minister Dr. Yadav asked her about it, Khushi happily shared, “I’m absolutely thrilled! This scooter will really help me with my studies and managing household tasks.” Since Khushi is her parents’ only child, the Chief Minister playfully asked if she’d act like a grandmother with the scooter and whether she’d let her friends use it. The crowd burst into laughter!
Student Shabd received the second scooter key. Shabd expressed his dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant, noting that this scooter will be incredibly helpful. Next, Akash Sahu received the third key. Akash shared with CM Dr. Yadav his exciting plan to launch an agriculture startup while continuing his studies, with plans to supply fresh food and vegetables. Meanwhile, Ravi Kewat and student Maryam Khan both shared their aspirations to become CAs. Devesh Gupta mentioned how pleased he is with the excellent facilities now available at Sandipani schools. Mini Jain expressed her goal of becoming a neurosurgeon after clearing the NEET exam. And Rani Sample is determined to pursue higher education and build a career as a lawyer.
Government committed to better future of students
At the event, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is committed to a better future for all students. Scooties worth up to 1 lakh rupees are being distributed to encourage meritorious students from government schools. This will facilitate children’s travel to and from college for further studies. He added that if we want to advance the country and state, we must have a big heart. When a child brings home a scooter based on their abilities and capabilities, their chest swells to 56 inches in front of their parents, village, and society.
