
Festival Special Trains: Good news for railway passengers. Getting train tickets during the festival season has turned into quite a challenge—in fact, it’s become nearly impossible! Tickets for all trains traveling through Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are selling out rapidly for the upcoming 60 days. You see, October and November bring a wonderful celebration of festivals across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Bengal. This means workers and students are constantly making their way back home. Major festivals like Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath take place from October through November. Because of this, the Railways keeps rolling out special festival trains to help everyone get where they need to go.
Special train connecting New Delhi and Howrah
The Railways has unveiled a festival special train service between New Delhi and Howrah. Train number 04052/04051 is a weekly special service operating between Delhi and Howrah. This train will be running from October 2nd through November 27th. Train number 04052 operates every Friday, while train number 04051 runs every Sunday.

Train No. 04052 leaves New Delhi every Friday at 6:15 p.m. The journey takes you through Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Etawah, Subedarganj, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Patna, Kiul, Jhajha, Chittaranjan, Asansol, Durgapur, and Bardhaman, pulling into Howrah at 1:40 a.m. on Sunday. On the return trip, Train No. 04051 departs Howrah at 1:40 a.m. on Sunday and reaches New Delhi at 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday. The train features 16 coaches in total—2 AC coaches, 8 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General coaches, and 2 SLRD coaches. The train will complete nine journeys in each direction between Delhi and Howrah.

Agra Railway Division’s Public Relations Officer Sanjay Kumar Gautam said that train number 04193 Subedarganj-Bhagat Ki Kothi Special will run every Monday and Thursday from October 1 to November 30. Departing from Subedarganj at 7:25 pm, it will reach Agra Cantt at 4:35 am the next day and will depart at 4:50 am. After this, it will reach Bhagat Ki Kothi via Mathura, Alwar, Rajgarh, Bandikui, Dausa, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Jaipur, Phulera, Nava City, Kuchaman City, Makrana, Degana, Merta Road, Gotan and Jodhpur.
In return, 04194 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Subedarganj Special will run every Tuesday and Friday from October 2 to December 1. Departing from Bhagat Ki Kothi at 8:40 pm, it will reach Agra Cantt at 9 am via Jodhpur, Gotan, Merta Road, Degana, Makrana, Kuchaman City, Nawa City, Phulera, Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Alwar and Mathura and will depart at 9:05 am. After this, it will go to Subedarganj via Fatehabad, Etawah, Govindpuri and Fatehpur. The second train 04183 Prayagraj-Hazrat Nizamuddin Special will run every Tuesday from 20 October to 1 December.
Departing from Prayagraj at 3:25 pm, via Shankargarh, Dabhaura, Manikpur, Chitrakootdham, Banda, Mahoba, Jhansi, Gwalior and Dholpur, it will reach Agra Cantt at 6:20 am and will depart at 6:25 am. After this, it will go to Hazrat Nizamuddin via Mathura, Kosikalan and Palwal. In return, 04184 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Prayagraj Special will run every Wednesday from 21 October to 2 December. Departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 3:45 pm, via Palwal, Kosikalan and Mathura, it will reach Agra Cantt at 7:05 pm and will depart at 7:10 pm. After this, it will reach Prayagraj via Dholpur, Gwalior, Jhansi, Mauranipur, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakootdham, Manikpur, Dabhaura and Shankargarh.
