PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Top-Up Schemes: The central government operates the ‘PM Kisan’ welfare scheme to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, farmers receive an annual aid of ₹6,000 directly into their bank accounts. Several states—including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana—have implemented their own supplementary schemes.
In these states, the respective state governments provide an additional amount ranging from ₹6,000 to ₹10,000.
