Under this system, a unique ‘Farmer ID’ is generated for each farmer, incorporating their personal identity and land records. This system facilitates the easy verification of farmers and assists government offices in ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach the eligible farmers.
How to obtain an AgriStack ID
There are simple methods available for farmers to obtain an AgriStack ID by completing the registration process.
Through a ‘Lekhpal’ or ‘Patwari’ (Revenue Official)
Farmers can contact the ‘Lekhpal’ or ‘Patwari’ (revenue official) in their respective areas. The official will verify the land records and the necessary documentation. If any discrepancies are found, the farmer can follow the established procedures of the Revenue Department to have them corrected.
Through a CSC (Common Service Centre)
Alternatively, farmers can visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or ‘Jan Seva Kendra’ to submit an application for the ‘Farmer Registry’. Operators can assist in entering the necessary information and completing the online registration process. Once the process is finished, the farmer will receive an ID.
Farmers can register using the ‘Farmer Registry’ app.
The government has launched an official ‘Farmer Registry’ app for farmers. Registration can be completed through this app by accessing the designated portal for your respective state. Users are required to provide all requested personal information as well as details regarding their land documents. Following this, farmers must complete the necessary verification steps.
