EPFO: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has successfully transferred the annual interest for the year 2025-26 to the accounts of its 34 crore members. This year, the interest rate stands at 8.25%. Members of the EPFO can verify if the interest has been credited to their accounts by checking their PF passbook. Additionally, the EPFO has sent notifications to members’ registered mobile numbers regarding this transfer. If you find that the interest amount has not been credited to your account and you haven’t received a message, there’s no need to worry; you can file a complaint with the EPFO.

Where can you check PF interest?

Before lodging a complaint, it’s advisable to check your PF passbook. You can view your PF balance through the EPFiGMS portal, the EPFO’s passbook website, or the UMANG app. These platforms provide comprehensive details about your interest and deposit amounts. If you haven’t received your interest money, you can directly reach out to the EPFO to file a complaint. There are multiple ways to do this. You can either call the helpline number or visit the official website.

To contact the EPFO, you can call their helpline at 14470 or 1800 118 005 to register your complaint. Alternatively, you can visit the official website, EPFiGMS.gov.in, and select the ‘Register Grievance’ option. After clicking on it, you’ll see three additional options along with another one. Click on that option, and you’ll find a form to fill out and submit your complaint.

First of all go to the official passbook website of EPFO ​​(Member Passbook Portal).

Log in by entering your 12-digit UAN (Universal Account Number), password and captcha code.

An OTP will come on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar, enter it.

Now click on View Passbook. Here you will see your full balance and whether the interest for FY26 has been added to your account.
