Gaurav Khanna on Exit from Anupamaa: Gaurav Khanna made such a place in the hearts of the audience by playing the role of Anuj Kapadia in the serial ‘Anupama’ that you can’t even imagine! There were also reports that there was some rift between Gaurav and the lead actress of the show, Rupali Ganguly, due to which he said goodbye to the show. Now finally, Gaurav has spoken openly on these reports!
What did Gaurav say?
In an interview given to Pinkvilla, when Gaurav was asked why he left ‘Anupama’? Did he have any rift with Rupali Ganguly? So, Gaurav said very clearly that whoever is playing the role of Anuj Kapadia can never even think of leaving the show due to a personal quarrel. Meaning, he completely denied these rift reports!
Will Anuj Kapadia return?
Gaurav further said that Anuj Kapadia is not a full stop for him, but like a comma. Rajan Sir (producer of the show) has not killed his character. There was just no place for him in the story right now. But, this is an Indian TV show, here anyone can be alive anytime! However, this does not mean that he is coming back immediately.
He also said that, even though the story has moved forward, there are still many chances for his character’s return. But only Rajan Shahi can say something about this. Gaurav also told that Rajan Shahi himself had told him that there is still a pause in his character, the story is not over.
About his return, Gaurav said, “Why not? This character is charming, but I think every story has its flow.” By the way, let us tell you that after leaving ‘Anupama’, Gaurav participated in the show ‘Celebrity Masterchef’ and he was also its winner!
