If you have a fondness for old mansions, spine-chilling sounds, and Vikram Bhatt’s signature ‘horror’ style, then there is big news in store for you. Director Vikram Bhatt—who has kept audiences awake at night with films like *Haunted 3D* and *Shaapit*—is making a comeback with his next film, *Haunted 3D Echoes of the Past*. The film’s teaser was released on Tuesday, and judging by the footage, it is evident that the level of terror is set to double this time around.

What does the teaser reveal?

The teaser opens with Mimoh Chakraborty, who sets out in a car in search of a mysterious palace. The moment he steps into that old, mansion-like structure, strange and terrifying occurrences begin to unfold. Then makes her entry the lead actress, Chetna Pande. While the teaser does not reveal the actual plot, the visuals are so frightening that they could send the heartbeats of the faint-hearted racing.

**Cast and Crew**

With this film, the duo of Vikram Bhatt and Mimoh Chakraborty reunites years after their 2011 superhit, *Haunted 3D*. The film’s star cast includes:

Mimoh Chakraborty

Chetna Pande

Shruti Prakash

Gaurav Bajpai

Praneet Bhatt

Hemant Pandey

The film has been jointly produced by Anand Pandit, Rakesh Juneja, and PromoAge Media.

When will it be released?

There has been considerable uncertainty regarding the film’s release date. If you, too, are confused, here is the accurate information. Initially, the film was scheduled for release on November 21, 2025; this date was subsequently pushed to January 30, and then to February 6, 2026.

Now, the film is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2026. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu, in addition to Hindi. Certain portions of the film have been reshot. Interestingly, the on-location filming for this movie was completed in just 12 days; however, a significant portion of the film was crafted with the aid of extensive VFX (Visual Effects).

What makes this film special?

The Magic of 3D: Much like its predecessor, this film has been shot specifically in 3D to ensure that the eerie atmosphere practically leaps right off the screen.

Vikram Bhatt Touch: When it comes to the horror genre, Vikram Bhatt is unrivaled; judging by the teaser, it appears he has once again attempted to weave that same magic involving haunted mansions and suspense.

Our Recommendation: If you enjoy watching movies alone in a dark room, be sure to mark June 12th on your calendar!
