Recently, the film’s makers shared an intriguing post on Instagram, sending fans into a frenzy. The makers wrote, “News has arrived from the bungalow… the doors will open on May 15, 2026. See you in theaters!” Yes, Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film will hit the big screens on May 15, 2026.

Why is this film special?
Akshay and Priyadarshan last collaborated in the 2010 film ‘Khatta Meetha’. Before that, this duo has delivered cult classic films like ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Garam Masala’, and ‘Bhagam Bhag’. The film is being produced jointly by Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Motion Pictures) and Cape of Good Films. This time, Priyadarshan has assembled a whole army of comedy maestros. The film will feature these stars alongside Akshay.

Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Manoj Joshi (who have been the lifeblood of their comedy films). Mithun Chakraborty, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Vindu Dara Singh, and Mithila Palkar. Jamie Lever and Manu Menon will also add to the humor. According to reports, Shehnaaz Gill will be seen showcasing her moves in a special cameo (item number) in the film.
