Divya Nidhi Sharma, who wrote the story of popular shows like ‘Anupama’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, is a well-known name. Recently, she has also worked on the script of Aamir Khan’s film ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. In a conversation with ‘Free Press Journal’, when Divya was asked that the current track of ‘Anupama’ is not liked by the audience and is not getting good reactions on social media, she expressed her views on this.
The writer said, “TV shows have a very long life. There are times when the story has to be set again. A film ends in 2 hours, but TV has 2000 episodes! There are phases in them where we try to do something new. Sometimes people like it and sometimes not.” He said specifically for ‘Anupama’, “All I can say is that our heart is in the right place.”

Divya Nidhi Sharma further said that her team always tries to tell good, strong and funny stories. He told the audience, “If our work is not looking good today, please forgive us and have some more patience. We are sure that in a few days we will bring the story back on track and everyone will like it.”
