Renault Triber 2026: The Renault Triber is set to launch soon with its most significant update yet. The changes won’t be limited to just the exterior design; updates such as a turbo-petrol engine, CVT automatic transmission, and a factory-fitted dual-cylinder CNG system are expected, potentially making this 7-seater even more capable. Power Upgrade
Currently, the Renault Triber is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering approximately 72 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. However, the new Triber is expected to adopt the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine found in the Renault Kiger. In its current tune, this engine produces around 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. This means the new Triber could gain approximately 27 bhp in power and an additional 64 Nm of torque.
Manual and CVT Automatic Options
The new Triber is expected to offer both a 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic. The manual version will appeal to those who prefer direct control, while the CVT could make driving easier in traffic-congested cities. However, the final transmission combinations and variant-wise availability will only be confirmed following an official announcement from Renault.
Factory-Fitted CNG
Another major change for the new Triber could be the introduction of a factory-fitted CNG option. Currently, CNG conversions for the Triber are handled via dealer-fitted kits, but Renault is preparing to offer a factory-fitted setup in the upcoming model.
