Salary Hike: There’s good news for outsourced employees in Uttar Pradesh. The Basic Education Department has announced an increase in the honorarium of outsourced employees working in the offices of the JIA project. The UP government has increased their salaries by up to 25 percent.

These employees will get benefit

The 25 percent salary increase will benefit employees working through outsourcing in the positions of stenographers, accountants, assistant accountants, typists, clerks, and computer operators. Until now, stenographers and accountants were paid a monthly honorarium of Rs 18,560. However, their monthly salary will now be increased.

How much will the salary increase?

If an employee was given a honorarium of Rs 18,560 every month, then now he will get Rs 23,200 every month, that is, the employee will get Rs 4,640 more every month.

When will you get the increased salary?

Since the salary increase announcement, employees have been wondering when they will receive their increased salaries. The government is preparing to provide employees with the increased honorarium benefits starting in October. However, employees will not be paid any arrears at this time.

A total of 375 outsourced employees working in the district project offices of the Basic Education Department are set to benefit from increased salaries. Five employees are employed in each district’s district project office, bringing the total number across Uttar Pradesh to 375. All these employees are working through service providers. The office has issued instructions to officials to ensure that these outsourced employees receive the increased honorarium. Instructions have also been issued to maintain transparency in the honorarium payment process.

It should be noted that a decision was previously made in Uttar Pradesh regarding the honorarium of outsourced employees deployed in the State Road Transport Corporation. About a month and a half ago, a 10 percent increase in the honorarium of these employees was approved. This included employees such as computer operators, programmers, accountants, and tally operators. However, the honorarium of mechanics hired from outside sources in roadways bus workshops was not re-determined category-wise.
