UPSC Geo-Scientist Final Results Declared. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result for the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2025. The Commission uploaded the result on its official website, upsc.gov.in, on October 29, 2025. Candidates who appeared in all stages of the examination can now check their final result online.

This examination was conducted nationwide to select eligible candidates for positions such as Geologist, Chemist, and Geophysicist. A total of 85 candidates will be selected through this examination.

UPSC Releases Final Result
UPSC has released the final result in PDF format. Candidates can download the result directly from the Commission’s website. The Commission advises candidates to carefully check their name and roll number given in the PDF file.
This examination had three stages: preliminary examination, main examination, and interview. Candidates who passed all three stages have been selected for the final list.
How to Download the UPSC Geo-Scientist Result
Candidates can download their final results using the simple steps below.
- First, visit the UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in.
- Click on the “Final Results” section on the homepage.
- Now, navigate to the “Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2025” link.
- Clicking on the link will open the result in PDF format.
- Now, search for your name or roll number.
- After downloading the result, keep a printout.
Complete Exam Schedule
The UPSC conducted Stage I (Preliminary Examination) on February 9, 2025. Candidates were asked questions worth 400 marks in this stage.
Following this, candidates who passed the preliminary examination were selected for the Main Examination (Stage-II), which was held on June 21 and 22, 2025. The exam consisted of 600 questions based on general studies and related subjects.
After the main exam, selected candidates were called for an interview, which carried 200 marks. The final merit list was prepared based on their performance in all three stages.
