UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Result : Dates for the announcement of UPSC Civil Services Preliminary 2025 results are nearing. The examination was held on May 25, 2025. As has been the tradition in all the previous years, results should probably come up by June 14, 2025, at www.upsc.gov.in.
PDF Notification of Results and Procedure
The results would be uploaded in PDF format with roll numbers of all these qualified candidates. A candidate is said to be qualified if:
He/she has scored above or equal to the cut-off in GS Paper I
He/she has secured 33% of the minimum marks in CSAT Paper II.
Expected Cut-off Listing For 2025
The CSAT paper was considered tough this year. This could lead to a slight reduction in the expected cut-off. The last few years have presented the following pattern for the General category:
2020—92.5 2021—87.5 2022—88.2 2023—75.4 (difficult CSAT), 2024—88 2025—Expected around 86±4
What After the Result?
With about 12,000 candidates expected to qualify for DAF-I and then moving to the next level, i.e., Mains beginning on 22nd August 2025.

2. Links will be available in ‘What’s New’ against results.
3. Download the pdf.
4. Search your roll number using Ctrl+F.

If selected, prepare for the Mains immediately, heavily concentrating on answer writing and the optional subject.
Re-evaluate the methods of your previous plan to determine if it proved to be effective, and based on what you find, develop a new plan for Prelims 2026 preparatory work if this year did not work.
These last few days will matter the most. If you continue your focus and consistency from now, it is a huge step already taken towards your dream becoming a UPSC CSE.
