UP TGT PGT exam 2025: There is disappointing news for the candidates who apply for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh and are waiting for the TGT PGT exam. Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has not been able to organise the TGT PGT exam after announcing the date thrice. Now the commission will conduct the TGT PGT exam by issuing a notification.

In fact, on the one hand, Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has come out with different information about the reconstruction of the e-Adhiachan portal and new recruitment soon, while on the other hand, the revised advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Professor of B.Ed subject of aided colleges has been cancelled, which was released on 23 May 2025. Due to this, the candidates who applied for this recruitment have received a big shock; they are repeatedly disappointed with the preparation of exam preparation.

How many posts will be recruited?

Let us tell you that applications were taken for recruitment to 107 posts of Assistant Professor in the B.Ed subject, along with other subjects, under Advertisement No. 51. This advertisement was issued by the Higher Education Service Commission in July 2022. It had a total of 1017 posts in 34 subjects. That is, after a long time has passed, the commission has not been able to conduct this examination; the reason behind this is significant. After this matter went to the court, the recruitment was delayed.

This is the big reason for the delay in recruitment.

Due to the dispute over the eligibility of the B.Ed subject in this recruitment, the case reached the High Court. The High Court issued a separate advertisement for the B.Ed subject and directed to take applications be taken. However, the Education Service Selection Commission had examined other subjects except the B.Ed subject on 16th and 17th April. Due to this, the applicant for other subjects has to be examined.

Let us tell you that a revised advertisement was issued under advertisement number 51 for the B.Ed subject, and applications were taken from the candidates. After the completion of the application process, it has now been decided to take further action by revising the educational qualification for Assistant Professor of B.Ed subject as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Rules-2014. In this matter, the Commission issued an order to cancel the revised advertisement and requisition on 26 August 2025.
