UP Board Compartment Exam 2025 : UPMSP has announced conducting compartment and improvement examinations officially for classes 10 and 12 in 2025. These examinations are for students who do not qualify in one or some subjects in the main board examinations and would want to sit for these examinations independently.

Important Dates and Timings of Examinations

The theory examinations, as clearly stated in the official notification, would be held on the 19th day of July, in the year 2025, for both high school (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12). Morning shift for Class 10 would be from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, while for Class 12, it would be in the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Practical examinations would take place on the 11th and 12th of July, 2025, at all nominated centers.

Exam Centre and Important Instructions

The compartment and improvement exams shall be housed at the Examinations Centre set up at the District HQs. The ivory-towering management of selection to these centres resides with the District School Inspector; here, strict rules of regulation have been announced by the UP Board for students coming in for the exam.

No electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and smartwatches, may be brought inside while taking the examination. CCTV covers the entire examination process to assure integrity and transparency. This is intended to commence from 8:30 AM, leaving students with a time buffer of 45 minutes at least to report at the examination venue lest they incur any loss to the ongoing proceedings.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria regarding who will be sitting for these exams according to UP Boards is pretty clear. Those in Class 10 who will sit for these specific exams will be those with results indicating failure in one subject or two subjects. If a student has passed, he can impair one subject. A student of Class 12 may sit for compartment and improvement in one subject in his/her stream-whether Science, Commerce, or Arts. Some specific vocational subjects are included as well.

Admit Card Information and Result

Admit cards are expected to be tentatively available for download in early July, in the year, 2025. The Uttar Pradesh Board’s official portal, upmsp.edu.in, would have the admit cards available for downloading or collecting at their respective schools. The declaration of the results of compartment and improvement tests is scheduled for the month of August in 2025, and students would access their modified result cards from the school following the declaration.

Reach the exam hall in plenty of time and obey all relevant regulations in use on examination day.
