Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET June 2025 exam are now waiting for the result. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet officially announced any result date, but according to reports, the UGC NET 2025 result can be released by the third or last week of July.
Keep these things in mind to see the result
The result of UGC NET will be released through online mode only. Whenever it is released, candidates will be able to see their scorecard by visiting the official website of NTA ugcnet.nta.ac.in. To check the result, you have to enter the application number, date of birth and the security code appearing on the screen.
UGC NET exam was conducted on these dates
The June session exam was conducted from 25 June to 29 June 2025 at various examination centers in the country. The paper was held in two shifts — the first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The answer key has already been released
After the completion of the exam, the provisional answer key of UGC NET 2025 has been uploaded on July 6. Candidates can match their answer sheet and if there is disagreement with any answer, then they can file an objection on it. For this, a fee of ₹ 200 will be charged per question. The last date for filing objection has been fixed as 8 July 2025.
What will be the next step after the result
As soon as the result is released, the candidates will have to decide on the basis of the scorecard whether they will apply for further process like PhD admission, JRF or lecturership. The cutoff and merit list will also be released along with the scorecard.

NTA will not send the result to any candidate individually. Everyone has to check their result from the official website themselves. So keep visiting the website regularly on the dates of result declaration.
