SEBA HSLC Compartment Result 2025 Out : The Board of Secondary Education of Assam (SEBA) has declared the result of HSLC i.e. High School Leaving Certificate Compartment Examination today, 16 June 2025. This result has been released on the official website of the board, sebaonline.org. All those students who had taken the supplementary examination after failing in one or two subjects can now check their result online.
This special examination was conducted between 23 May to 29 May 2025. Its purpose was to give another chance to those students who could not pass the main examination. Now the students who have passed this compartmental examination can further take admission in science, commerce or arts faculty in class 11th.
How to check the result?
To see the result, students have to visit the website sebaonline.org or results.assam.nic.in. There you will find the link of “HSLC Compartment Result 2025” on the homepage. After clicking on it, the student has to enter his roll number and registration number. After this, on pressing the submit button, their mark sheet will appear on the screen, which can be downloaded or printed.
Marksheet and Pass Certificate
Despite viewing the result online, students will have to collect their original mark sheet and pass certificate from their school. These documents will be made available to the schools by the board after some time.
Passing rules and grading system
According to the rules set by SEBA, at least 33% marks are required to pass in any subject. This rule applies to both theory and practical. The board follows a division-based grading system in which students are given divisions based on the marks obtained.
Students who get 400 or more marks are given distinction.
First division for those who score between 300 to 399 marks.
Second division for 200 to 299 marks.
And those who score 150 to 199 marks are considered third division.
The main HSLC exam result was released in April
The board declared the main HSLC exam result on 11 April 2025. A total of 2,70,471 students had cleared the exam this time. The pass percentage of boys in the exam was 67.59% and the pass percentage of girls was 61.09%.
Top students
This year Amishi Sakia (Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School, Jorhat) topped by securing 591 out of 600 marks (98.50%). He was followed by Saptarsh Bordoloi (Assam Jatiya Vidyalaya, Noonmati) with 590 marks (98.33%) and Anirban Borgohain (Pragya Academy, Jorhat) with 589 marks (98.17%).
What to do next?
Students who have cleared the compartmental exam can now directly take admission in class 11th in the stream of their choice (Science, Commerce or Arts). On the other hand, students who have got negative results will have to appear for the exam again next time or may have to repeat the entire academic year.
