School Holiday:A holiday has been declared in all schools and colleges in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, on August 21st. According to the information received, it has been decided to close the school due to the Guru Dronacharya fair in Dankaur. Keeping in view the safety of children and traffic problems, the district administration has announced a holiday.
Let us tell you that fairs and festivals are organised every year at the Guru Dronacharya temple located in Dankaur, Greater Noida. Due to this, schools are closed.
This fair is organised in the name of Guru Dronacharya, who was the guru of the Kauravas and Pandavas during the Mahabharata period. This fair is organised on a large scale, and heavy crowds are also present every year. This fair usually runs for 10 days in the premises of Shri Drona Natya Shala. Many programs and competitions are also organised at the fair.
Guru Dronacharya Fair is organised every year after Shri Krishna Janmashtami in Dankaur, Greater Noida. Guru Dronacharya Mela is a unique confluence of religious, cultural and social celebrations. This fair, held in Dankaur, lasts for about 10 to 12 days, and people gather from far and wide to attend. The attractions of the fair are Kabaddi, Drama, Dangal, Bhajan Sandhya, Meena Bazaar and swings.
