RSMSSB Recruitment 2025. Good news for candidates preparing for government jobs in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has announced the dates for the Driver and Platoon Commander Recruitment Exams in 2025. The wait is now over for candidates who applied for these positions. According to a notification issued by the board, these exams will be held in late November 2025.
With the announcement of the exam dates, the board will soon release official information regarding admit cards. You should speed up your exam preparations, as the admit cards will be released on the RSMSSB’s official website, rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.

When will the Driver and Platoon Commander Exams be held?
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released the exam schedule, stating that the Driver Recruitment Exam will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025. This exam will be conducted in a single shift from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Platoon Commander exam will be conducted in two shifts on November 22, 2025 (Saturday).
- First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Second Shift: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
How Many Posts Will Be Recruited?
A large number of positions will be filled by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board under this recruitment drive.
A total of 2,756 Driver positions will be filled, of which 2,602 positions are reserved for non-Scheduled Areas and 154 for Scheduled Areas.
A total of 84 Platoon Commander positions will be filled. This recruitment process will recruit qualified candidates for various state government departments.
Driver Recruitment Exam Pattern
The written examination for the Driver position will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions, carrying 200 marks.
The question paper will include the following subjects:
- General Hindi
- General English
- General Knowledge
- General Mathematics
Please note that a negative marking of one-third marks will apply for each wrong answer. Candidates must answer all questions within the stipulated time.
Platoon Commander Exam Pattern
The Platoon Commander exam will consist of two papers:
- Paper I: 150 questions from General Hindi for 200 marks
- Paper II: 150 questions from General Knowledge and General Science for 200 marks
There will be negative marking for wrong answers in both papers.
Final selection will be based on the written exam scores.
Admit Cards to be Released Soon
The exact admit card release date has not yet been announced by the RSSB. However, it is likely that the admit card download link will be released to candidates a week before the exam.
