When was the RRB NTPC UG Exam 2025?
The NTPC Undergraduate Level CBT-1 exam was conducted from August 7 to September 9, 2025, at various exam centres across the country. The exam duration was 90 minutes, consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions.
The Board subsequently released the provisional answer key on September 15, 2025. Candidates were allowed to raise objections to their answers until September 20. The final result is expected to be released after these objections are resolved.
Recruitment Process and Position Details
Recruitment is being conducted for undergraduate-level positions under the NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Category). A total of 3,445 positions will be filled through this recruitment process.
The total stages in the recruitment process will be as follows:
- CBT-1 Exam (Preliminary Exam)
- CBT-2 Exam (Main Exam)
- Typing Skill Test – This test is required for the Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist positions.
- Document Verification
- Medical Test
For the Commercial cum Ticket Clerk and TrainClerk positions, a two-stage CBT will be followed by a document verification and medical examination. Negative marking of one-third (1/3) will also apply.
